This weekend is going to be cold and snowy as heck. Hanging out in a cozy bar might be nice. Or, alternately, you could put on your warmest sweatpants, stay indoors, pour yourself a beer, and check out this great new local podcast: Stories From a Bar. The host, Chris Osborne, conducts interviews with really interesting people in bars that you've probably spent some time in yourself: The Pearl Street Pub, The Old English Pub, Albany Pump Station and Fort Orange all make appearances, and topics range from Albany's brewing history (it turns out that Albany Ale is a thing, and its distinguishing characteristic is "contains tons of booze") to spooky Capitol ghosts to chats with local musicians.
