Cafe 217 Has Reopened

After being closed for a stretch for renovations, late-night staple Cafe 217 is once again open for business -- and looks so different that we spent brunch watching people walking through the door and giving visible double-takes. The faux grapes and vaguely early-aughts-Tuscan vibes have been banished, the bar has moved, and all of the seating has been swapped out and been rearranged. There's also now a revamped new menu, though our server warned us that the current offerings are still in trial mode and the menu is likely to change.
